The war ( not even just a war it's a literal genocide edit : nevermind , my apologies i did some research .. i dont actually know if its a genocide , but I know it's a war . Still at least we know the truth is that there is a lot of innocent families suffering in the palestine vs Israel war and we can always help them out ) killed the children and now the mother has to mourn their deaths

I wish I could make more oddport academy posts but then there's this stuff going on I will make more oddport academy posts but as I go I'll become aware of the people and families in need of help.

( some of the comments in the comments section of the post is kinda scary. I'm seeing people tell each other the f word and stuff, even if its out of support for Palestine i felt kinda scared reading some of the harsh-sounding comments. )

Important update: actually I'm not sure about the pcrf and prcs anymore. For the PCRF and PRCS, I am very grateful for the way they have served and provided for innocent and suffering people in need, it's just that I feel suspicious now after finding out they also provide for the Palestinian terrorist organization named Hamas. (Even though Hamas is created against Zionism and I am grateful for Hamas' protection of Palestine, I am unsure about and against their violent behaviors against innocent Israelis, which makes this whole Israel-Palestine thing super confusing because then there's this and that and it becomes hard to trust everything.) I change my mind, please go ahead and donate for these organizations they are reliable and safe.

Another important update ( august 29th 2024 ): help me I don't know anymore I want to understand what's going on I feel so trapped help me I don't know what's real or fake ( I feel even worse because there's real people who do really need help. Please help me i dont know how to feel anymore. ) I've had mental and emotional health issues before, I've been at my last straw many times before, but this is another time things have hit me stronger than ever. Please help me. I am so sorry for what I just typed here, I was in a really emotionally helpless position. In less than two months it will be October 7th again.

In less than two months, it will be a year of genocide. 

In light of this, I just have only one request for you; please do not give into whatever you are describing as “compassion fatigue” right now.

Realize that this is exactly what the colonizers conducting this genocide want you to feel. Realize that apathy during a genocide is what leads to the normalization of atrocities. Realize that this is a tried and tested method found throughout history; that now when the genocide is been widely documented by Gazans themselves- the only way the colonizers can get away with it is by running you down and making you feel hopeless!

They want you to stop caring about their victims and this is why you need to fight harder now more than ever!!

I request you to fight harder for every Gazan! And therefore request you to fight for my friend Siraj Abudayeh too, whose family recently faced another assault. His parents and siblings had to flee to him for protection, because their areas ( Hamad, southern Khan Younis) were marked for assault from occupation forces. With the number of people depending on him increased now, Siraj has a much heavier responsibility on his shoulders to raise enough funds to support all of them and their needs, when prices of food water and other essentials are already skyrocketing.

With the coming of the rainy season, there comes the danger of epidemics spreading from open sewers as well! Siraj’s son Amir has already fallen ill, and his other two sons are showing symptoms too- they are in dire need of medical treatment! I cannot overstate how badly Siraj and his family need these funds!! How badly he needs your continuous support.

There has been a significant drop in engagement with fundraising posts and I very clearly remember, someone tagging one of my posts with compassion fatigue. It shocked me to my core to think that the cries of Free Palestine could fade so suddenly; that after only a year some of you have begun to feel fatigued, from having to care about this.

Do not give in please; do not let the colonizers make you complicit in this horror! They know that if they can overwhelm you enough, then one day the videos and posts would stop hitting as hard and sooner or later everyone will stop talking about Palestine. This cannot happen again! Not when your attention can literally save a life! This is the power you hold- especially if you are living in the Imperial core. The colonizers are afraid of it. You have to know this and believe this!

So please do not turn away and help Siraj get to 50k as soon as possible!

Hello everyone, I hope you take a minute to read our story.

On the sad day of October 9, 2023, an unforgettable day, it was a dream like a nightmare. I was returning home to Gaza and my family, the women and children, were leaving the house in fear. They told me that the Israeli Defense Forces had ordered them to evacuate all the houses immediately. I was surprised and could not believe it. I entered the house quickly and went out. My father is crippled and fear grips my heart. Half an hour after the call, the warplanes destroyed the house. We miraculously survived, but my brother Samer was injured in his feet.

In the shadow of conflict, our family has faced unimaginable hardships. The passing of my father, a victim to the cruel grasp of hunger and inadequate healthcare, left a void in our lives, underscoring the fragility of our existence here. My brother, Samer, battles bipolar disorder, a condition exacerbated by the ongoing war and the severe shortage of essential medications. Without access to the necessary treatment, his life is at risk, and we live in constant fear for his well-being amidst the chaos that surrounds us. These personal tragedies have deepened the urgency of our situation.

Every day is a struggle for survival, and each night is filled with prayers for a brighter tomorrow. Yet, amidst the darkness, we hold onto hope, seeking solace in the belief that one day, the clouds of war will dissipate, and we will find the peace and stability we so desperately crave. Until then, we endure, clinging to the threads of our resilience, and nurturing dreams of a safer, healthier future for us all.

Our home, once a sanctuary of love and warmth, was destroyed, displacing us into a life of uncertainty and fear. The laughter of my children and my sister's daughters, once the music of our home, is now silenced by the echoes of conflict. They deserve a future where education and happiness are not just dreams but realities.

But our challenges are not just physical; they are emotional and psychological. The loss of my father and the imminent threat to my brother's life weigh heavily on us. My mother, who has endured so much, faces the unimaginable fear of losing another child. For her, for my brother, for my children, and for the future of our family, we seek a new beginning.

We dream of a place far from the sounds of war— we want to be safe with my family we dream to move to Egypt to save ourselves

This journey is more than a physical relocation; it is a quest for dignity, for normalcy, for the very essence of what makes life worth living. We seek to restore what conflict has stripped from us: our home, our health, and our hope.

We turn to you, not just as donors, but as fellow humans who understand the power of compassion and community. Your support, in any form, is a beacon of hope in our darkest times. It represents solidarity and a shared belief in the sanctity of life and the right to a safe and peaceful existence.

Our dream is simple yet seems a world away:

to escape to Egypt .

for children to pursue education and a life unshaded by conflict, and for us to honor my father's memory in a land of peace.

However, this dream bears a significant cost, one that is beyond our reach. For each of us to make this journey, to cross borders towards a life of safety and dignity, we estimate the need for at least $5,000 per person. This sum covers the complex tapestry of legal, travel, and initial resettlement expenses.

Yeah I'm soo confused about the gofundmes. Sometimes I wish I can go back to posting fanart and memes about Oddport Academy instead of getting confused in Palestine stuff. Maybe I just need to get more info about the Israel and Palestine war, cuz yeah it's so confusing. But what I do know now, is that I can stick with what I already know the truth about: that many innocent families are in danger. Then sometimes I don't know if the families are real or not and it gets even more confusing. I hope we get to work together through this.

Do you know anything i can donate to for palestine that's not the gofundmes because the idea of having to choose who needs my money more is just. scary to me they all need it 3: maybe there's a thing that splits/distributes money evenly???? idk but help would be appreciated

Gazafunds actually deals with this anxiety and makes a decision for you if you want. Their home page has a spotlighted fundraiser and the code consider things like how close the gfm is to finishing, when the most recent donation is, etc. So it's randomized to help as many people as possible.

There's also @helpgazachildren which if you donate, you can help multiple people at once since it's a whole mutual aid fund, or at least close to it. Hussam distributes money to people who need it when he's asked.

The Israel vs Palestine conflict and situation can pretty confusing because there's a lot of people who don't know what to side with since there are bad and good parts on both sides,

But what we do know, is that there are innocent people who deserve peace and safety, and that includes people like the family and friends of @safaakhatib and thousands of other fleeing Palestinians.
